For my questions:

1. What is a talent or character trait from a classic film that you'd like to have? (For example, dancing like Fred Astaire, or being as good as Jane Eyre)
2. What do you like best about Filmclassics?
3. What are three things about you, that most people wouldn't immediately notice if they met you in person?
4. Name one of your favorite comedies/funny moment in a movie:
5. If you could have a date with a character from a classic movie, who would it be? Mind, not the actress or the actor, but the character that they play :D

My answers:
1. MMMM- I love to sing, maybe I would love to sing like Paul Anka!!!!-
2.They have STORIES- Plots : Intimate , Epic, Historical, sad stories, happy ones, comedies.. BUT they have strong stories to tell- And the music of course!!-
3. That I,m very shy, that sometimes I need to be alone, and that I cry with almost everything: animals, cartoons, love stories, music... u name it!!- I have a "strong presence".. (so they say) :So.. those are my "hidden-secrets"-
4. "Some like it hot": when Joe E Brown carries "Daphne,s" (Jack Lemmon) bags in the Hotel- Lemmon, as a woman , is perfect!!: he/she walks ( in that scene) with his back and his head almost looking like a queen: I can,t stop laughing every time I see it!!-
5. Hehe: Scarlett O,Hara: maybe at first I would be rather affraid of her, but as she loves Tara.. and I love my home..Also she has strong family values: So do I- surely we would becomes friends- :banana-linedance:

carlos wrote:By the way: u didn,t answer MY 5 questions.... hehe-
1- Which classic scene you are almost unable to see, cause it,s VERY painfull or sad or "strong"?-
2- In which "serious" film you laughed as hell?- ( you found it very amusing!!)
3- Which classic film is the most underrated in your opinion?-
4- WHICH classic Star is the most underrated in your own opinion?- :x
5- Which actress you find to be the most beautiful of all?- and which actor the most handsome?- ;) :P :P

All right, here goes:

1. An Affair To Remember, when bitter Cary discovers that Debs can't walk.
2. Duel In The Sun. I love the film, but it is all a bit camp.
3. Lawrence Of Arabia. Not underrated at all, just a bit forgotten. Beautiful film, fab actors and essential history lesson.
4. Merle Oberon.
5. Ava Gardner & Gregory Peck. Although Peter O'Toole is the dreamiest man I ever seen in LOA, with his tanned skin, blond hair, piercing blue eyes, full lips and white attire. Pheww

New questions for someone:
1. How do you prefer to watch films at home? (alone or with someone, in the dark or with lights on, with food and drink)
2. Which B&W film would you like to see in colour?
3. What's your favourite classic cartoon character?
4. What's your favourite western?
5. Which classic film gives you the creeps?

FIRST: Moon, I can imagine u dressed like Cyd Charrise (THAT green "dress") as in SITR with a Peter O,Toole like in LOA- - Of course "lost" in Arabia.... THAT HOT DESERT !!!!!! ;) ;)

Now, my asnwers:
1. With some good friend (to comment the film after), without lights and PLENTY of pizza & orange natural jug- And.. chocolates of course !!-
2. "That Hamilton Woman": Vivien with those dresses should be a dream to see !!!!!!-
3. I don,t remember the name of this dog: a cocker who is always like sad, but always saying: " I,m sooo happy"- I LOVE him !!- OR: "Gasper" !!!!!!!- poor little ghost !!!!: always trying to make friends !!!!- I ADORES HIM !!!!!!- (but I cry each time I see his efforts)
4. "How The West Was Won"-1962: FULL of Stars, wonderful story, amazing actings... and: Thelma Ritter at her best-
5. "NOSFERATU"- 1922- I have it- I only saw 2 times: first ALONE :o  - Then I invited a friend (older than me!!) who " I never got scared with a film- they ARE only films!!": We saw NOSFERATU: That night I had to sleep in his room because he saw "the creature" in every place of my house !!!!- HAHAHAHA-

Now, my questions: ( this game is addictive!!):
1. Are u ashamed to cry with a film in front of others?- IF u can,t stop (the crying)... what do u do?. rush to the kitchen? to the bathroom?, to the patio?-hehe-
2. Your fav soundtrack from a classic film?- and WHY-?
3. IF u would be able to ask ONLY ONE QUESTION to your fav Star: Which question would it be?- (ONLY ONE !!)

Oh, this game is so much fun, I need to participate.

2. Your fav soundtrack from a classic film?- and WHY-?
3. IF u would be able to ask ONLY ONE QUESTION to your fav Star: Which question would it be?- (ONLY ONE !!)
4. Name a classic character that u want to slap on his/her face !!!!!-
5. Your fav Disney classic film?-

1. Not at all, I cry so often while watching movies, I think everybody got used to it by now. ;) If I can't stop crying, I usually have to laugh about myself after a time and can stop then. If it's really tough, I go to the kitchen to make me a hot chocolate.
2. This is difficult. I love nearly all soundtracks by Frank Skinner & Max Steiner. But my absolute favourite probably is "The best Years of our Lives" by Hugo Friedhofer because it captures every scene perfectly (and has saxophone sequences in it). Besides, I cannot get enough of the exit music. But "Since you went away" is pretty close too.
3. Question to Jane Wyman: How did it feel not to hear anything while filming "Johnny Belinda" while you weren't on the set?
4. Howard in "All that Heaven allows". The son too. And Ashley in "Gone with the Wind".
5. I have to admit that I've only seen one so far. It's "Pollyanna" and I love it a lot. A great feel-good movie.

Alright, the next questions:

1. What's your favourite city?
2. The most romantic scene you've ever seen?
3. Your favourite character's name in a movie?
4. If you could change a movie ending, which one would you change?
5. Did you ever walk out of the cinema before the movie was over?
...that when you turned and smiled at me, a Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square.

My answers: I LOVE IT !!!!-
1. I have 3: Buenos Aires, San Francisco & Rome- If I have to name only one?: Buenos Aires- I feel "at home" there-
2. Myra & Roy dancing in the "Candlelight Club" the first time !!!!!!- (Waterloo Bridge of course)- I have never seen two people FALLING in love, while dancing, only by seeing how they glance at each other without saying any word- And the MUSIC !!!!!!- And THAT soft kiss in the middle of the dance !!!!!-
3. - "Katie Scarlett O;Hara": in this name u have everything she is: Irish (Katie), strong, passional, (Scarlett) and the O,Hara is the perfect Irish-strong last-name: exactly as her father is ( and as Scarlett is his "pet-daughter" is perfect)- Also: in the film, Scarlett worns that incredible red dress in Ashley,s birthday : the perfect combination of "character-name-atittude-dress"-
4. "That Hamilton Woman": her last words: " there,s no then, there,s no after" breaks my heart- Completely tue-
5. YES !!!!!- but in a "new" movie: " The German Sisters".... I couldn,t stand it !!!!!-

Now, my questions:

1. Which heroine of any of Hitchcock films u would love to be?.or have been-
2. Name a classic film that, at first, you hated... but with a second view u love it!!-
3. Choose a classic decade to becomes, YOU, a super-star: 30,s, 40,s, 50,s And why?-( to make more clear: in which of this decades u would love to have been a Star)
4. Which classic-partners ( in a film) you don,t like?- You can choose: husband & wife, lovers, friends, fiancees...etc
5. If u can choose to be an animal... which animal u would love to be?-

5. If u can choose to be an animal... which animal u would love to be?-

1. Ingrid Bergman in "Notorious".
2. "The Man from Yesterday" (1932) with Claudette Colbert & Charles Boyer. Although the second time it was more like "Yeah, it's good" instead of loving it...
3. In the 30s because the fashion was great and because there wasn't any war (and also no aftermath of the war like in the 50s). Besides, I might have gotten a role in one of the early "Thin Man" movies or in "Midnight". ;)
4. Claudette Colbert & Don Ameche in "Sleep my Love". In "Midnight" I wanted them to marry but here, I was totally for a divorce (which means a lot considering that the other possibility was Robert Cummings ;))
5. A giraffe, I love them. :)

Next questions:

1. What's your favourite book?
2. What's your favourite century?
3. What was the most crazy thing you ever did?
4. Which Douglas Sirk movie do you love most?
5. Do you like your water with sparkling or without?
...that when you turned and smiled at me, a Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square.

My answers:
1- MMM- one about History written by an Argentine kind of philosopher: "Buenos Aires, Vida cotidiana & Alienacion": It means something like: "Buenos Aires everyday life & alienation": a "social-history-study" about the Argentines-
2- If I have to choose one because of the "Arts" things, I choose XIX Century- BUT: in XX Century you have everything: good medicines, Cinema, cars, Good Hospitals... Even u can "fly" to other Centurys with movies or Documentals- But my house decoration, my music, etc is tottally XIX Century- So... I don,t know.. :shifty:
3- Going to a Movie Theatre, in Buenos Aires, in 1980, with a Super 8 mm movie camera: GWTW (in another showing) was the HIT from the year in that theatre: so... I took my camera, the theatre FULLLLLL of public... and I fimed 2 hours of the film directly from the screen- The camera makes noices, so I put it in a kind of fabric-envelope to dismiss noices, each one of the movie reels had a duration of 3 minutes, so I have to change, them, in the middle of the showing, in total darkness.. choosing scenes ( and cutting the filming in the exact time, not to cut it in the middle of an important scene!!)- The weird thing is that I went with that BAG full of movie reels, camera, envelope, etc..TWICE- Because the first time I went to film GWTW the sound was not so good- So: I have 2 hours from GWTW taken directly, by me, from a Movie Screen: with the voices, noices, laughings.. etc from public- Nobody payed me any attention: For doing that ( to film a movie from the screen) I could have been in jail !!!!!-
4- hehe.... the same as you: "All that Heaven Allows".... hehe......
5- without- Even I can,t drink Coke or those kind of beverages: my stomach seems to explode !!!!-

my questions-

1- If u have to choose a classic Star for husband/wife...( of you)... which of them would u choose?- Remember HOW they were as persons !!-
2- Name a film you DON,T like from your fav Star-
3- Name 2 things, about your fav Star you really Don,t Like- hehe
4- Your fav classical composer?.
5- Your fav furnitures Style?- ( from Egypt to modern)-

1. Gregory Peck
2. "The Doughgirls" with Jane (of course ;))
3. First thing: Jane's hair in the 50s. Second thing: The whole "Nearly First Lady" stuff.
4. Tchaikovsky
5. Art Nouveau

New questions:

1. Your favourite Jazz musician?
