Marie, a very happy Birthday and a great day to you too! :D (You all are swamping me just a little bit ;))
...that when you turned and smiled at me, a Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square.

Happy Birthday Dan! :occasion-birthday: It's always fun to share birthdays with friends. :royalty-crown: :royalty-queen:

Thanks for the kind wishes everyone! This is a picture of the pavlova that I made. It was delicious, if I do say so myself.:shifty:

Ahaha Uncle Carlos, who could refuse a deal like that? It's a perfect swap, and I definitely agree. :P I'm already dreaming of Dulce de Leche candies.

And thank you Moon!

Well, NOW you are Audrey :D !!!!!- What a BEAUTIFUL AVATAR U HAVE !!!!!!!- She is Angelic there ( and where she is now)- You changed because my comment about you beeing like Sabrina?- hehe-
Look: those Dulce de Leche candies are: big, sweet-light dulce de leche, not so "hard" (they are "mild","soft") to eat, a delicious way to see a classic & eat something GREAT !!!!!_ I bought about 20, the other day, so I can see my classics eating about 5 per-night- They are really delicious !!!!!-
You can make them... I,m sure- You can search for: "dulce de leche-caramelos-receta" ( dulce de leche-candies-receipt)-
GOOD LUCK !!!!- uncle :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Thank you! She was such a beauty. You know, that's a brilliant idea! I should definitely try making some candies. The only problem is finding an American recipe that will be as good as the Spanish ones.

SPANISH ??-  - hehe... Argentina is NOT Spain, my dear puppy- ;)
Even if we speaks Spanish.. (or a sort of...)... we are in South America... Spain is in Europe- :shifty:
By the way: in Spain the Dulce de leche doesn,t exist: ONLY in Argentina- :P :P
If you was telling me "To find a receipt IN English as good as in SPANISH (language)".. that,s another matter- :o
But u can try to find one in English !!- As same as u found the Dulce de leche receipt before....Uncle from ARGENTINA- hehe-

        Sorry Uncle! I was trying to say that I was hoping I could find a recipe in English that was as good as the ones written in Spanish. Because you were telling me to search for "dulce de leche-caramelos-receta" and I did, but I couldn't understand the recipes that I found.

It's funny that they don't have dulche de leche in Spain! I know that they do have it in France, but they call it a different name. The name for dulche de leche in French is "Confiture de lait" which would translate to "milk jam" in English. Either way, it's completely delicious, and I'm looking forward to making caramels with it. :shifty:

So, as I told u: try searching: " Dulce de leche candies"-
Look: I never did those candies, but I think that you have to do first the dulce de leche, and then.. find a way to make it rather "solid" so u can cut the candies- I will search for an image for you- Just wait.....
