Hello everybody
I'm Moon from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
As a child I loved to watch b&w films on tv. It all looked so glamorous, the women were beautiful, the men masculine and the stories romantic. I felt safe and happy getting lost in this imaginary world.
My first love was Errol Flynn. He was handsome, defied authority and was brilliant with a sabre. I imagined myself the lady getting rescued. As a teenager I wanted to be as feisty as Bette Davis, strong and dark as Barbara Stanwyck and funny as Rosalind Russell.
Now, many years later, I'm no longer waiting for Errol to rescue me but I still love the classics. There's a filmmuseum in Amsterdam and I love seeing these wonderful films on the big screen as much as possible.
I've known this site for a few years now, and the collection is fabulous. Thanks for letting me join!

Hey Moon, WELCOME!
Wow! You're the first 'Netherlander' to join the family!
It's so nice to have you here!
I'm 16, from Canada, and I think every girl wants to be rescued by Flynn sometime in their life...

Re: Hello everybody
Thank you all so much for your kind words! I feel very welcome indeed.
I love how we can share our passion for classics, no matter where we are in the world. And it's wonderful to read that so many of you are still so young!
