How goes it everybody
Hello everyone! Had I known about such a miraculous sanctuary from the terrible media we're stuck with these days I would have signed up much sooner, haha.
I'm Jake, 25, born and raised in Brooklyn NY--a prematurely-retired athlete of sorts currently attempting recuperation by vacationing all over Asia.
By the by, I'd like to say THANKS AGAIN to David for letting me see The Conspirators after all this time. Last night was the best I've had in years, haha. Appreciate it!

Jake! (Yes! finally another guy - we're few and far between! Do you have any favorite stars or films?
My sister is actually going to Asia (China) for a week or so this June, so that'll be exciting for her. Never been there myself though.

The scenery in Asia is definitely a change-up from the metropolis I'm from. The most beautiful places I've been in Asia (in my humble opinion of course) would definitely be Tibet, China and Dubai.
@David: Well I'm sure you can guess The Conspirators is a big favorite of mine! I also love to watch Jimmy Cagney, Ida Lupino, Eleanor Parker, Fred Astaire, Hedy Lamarr, Errol Flynn & George Raft.
Escape Me Never, A Slight Case Of Murder, The Postman Always Rings Twice - honestly there are too many unforgettable movies, haha. I have been looking for the 1943 Ida Lupino movie The Hard Way for years, but no luck anywhere.

You know, I don't think I've ever watched enough Cagney
But Fred and Errol are a couple of my favorites for sure!
You know, I thought The Hard Way was up on here, but looking for it I guess not - I think I can get it up though before too long
It's definitely my favorite Lupino film!

Agreed! Currently the only Lupino films I have are They Drive By Night with Bogie & Into The Fog with James Garfield, I'd love to see The Hard Way again!
And speaking of Cagney, have you seen The Roaring Twenties lately? It's so rare to see him & Bogart working together (however briefly, haha) instead of shooting at each other.
Oddly enough I really do prefer Cagney the hoofer to Cagney the tough guy persona-wise, but either way he's always a delight to have on the screen.
