I got to know about that when I saw this new Margarete Thatcher movie with Meryl Streep. And from what I know, Thatcher and Reagan were close anyway all the time. It figures, they had the same agenda. Oh but I'm getting too much into that politics thing. ;)

I just finished watching Anything Goes (1956) with Donald O'Connor and Bing Crosby. Donald is really working on me. He's fantastic! :D

As there are a Special Cinema in Buenos Aires that only gives classic films, Thomas and I saw "Vertigo" with Kim Novak and James Stewart. I have to say that for me the best Hitchcock film I saw. Mr Stewart is fantastic here, and Kim Novak ,as Thomas LOVES HER  , I have to say is great too. Barbara Bel Gedees is just lovely, always so sweet and with a lot of class. I love it ( and those fashions !!!!) . Tomorrow we will see "Rear Window" there. :D :D

I was soooooooooooooooo excited yesterday when my Mom surprised me and got me a whole bunch of classics!!!!! That doesn't happen everyday and so I was of course thrilled and ended up getting Tracy and Hepburn- The Complete Collection, Harvey, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Arsenic and Old Lace. Just saw Arsenic and Old Lace and I'm still deciding if I liked it  ;) Cary was so funny, great as always but I found it to be a weird film. Maybe I'm just not used to little old ladies poisoning people and a creepy brother with a plastic face who's always trying to kill people...
Tell me what you all like about that film and I know it will help me enjoy it a little more! :D

Oh, Arsenic and Old Lace is amazing! Cary was superb in it. It is a weird film considering the premise of it, but it's terribly funny. I love it; it's one of my top films of Cary's. Did you know that Cary didn't like this one at all? He felt he overreacted and played it too over the top, which of course isn't the case, but that's what he felt and so he never considered this one a favorite of his.

I just finished watching Pal Joey (1957) with Frank Sinatra, Kim Novak, and Rita Hayworth. It was my free movie that I got with my Barnes and Noble order a few weeks ago. It was funny, I enjoyed it.

I just finished "Edge of Darkness" with Errol Flynn and Ann Sheridan. It's a great war drama and definitely one of my new favorites.
