Weekend Nominations
Weekend Nominations
Ok folks! So those of you who don't have a clue what this about...we're going to have a movie that appears over the weekend so that we can all discuss it with it fresh in our minds (as Carmen put it
) So, for the next coming weekends, any nominations for films? This can be anything in the already uploaded list, or just ask me if I have it
After a couple days I'll run polls to select the final movie

I second it too, although I probably won't have time to watch it because I'll be leaving on a trip next Saturday.

Re: Weekend Nominations
I really want to see that movie, but I don't have it.
Is it on YT, anyone know? For upcoming movies, though, I'd suggest Three Little Words, and if it's not to 'new', The Singing Nun. (both with Debbie
)

Re: Weekend Nominations
As all the movies that are suggested so far are with Debbie Reynolds, I don't care which one it will finally be as this one is going to be my first Debbie Reynolds movie anyway.
But it's a great idea! Do you have any of the movies David?

http://www.1channel.ch/watch-69979-Tamm ... e-Bachelor Here is the link to "Tammy and the Bachelor"- So u can see it, download..etc- The best is STAGEVU... but only for downloading- u just click in "download" and when it finish the process u have the complete film- In a wonderful print-
Carlos told me that as Judy Garland was always "Dorothy"... Debbie IS "Tammy", as she is still singing that song, one of the GEMS from film,s songs (and Debbie,s rendition was number one on charts in 1957, winning over her then-husband-singer Eddie Fisher
)- In every concert she gives.. she sing, it- Not only the song is beautiful: the plot, the characters, the music AND Debbie- It,s a wonderful film to begin this Topic- Some can think as "corny", but we, who loves classics have a different view: we love clean, pure, lovely stories, full of love and good maners- The perfect example is TAMMY- Even in"Grease"-1978, u can see MANY tributes to "Tammy"-
This film is a classic in his own gendre- And my opinion is this: You will never see Debbie Reynolds as lovely as in this film- In fact: Miss Reynolds IS Tammy !!- modest, humble, lovely, pure... etc-
I VOTE FOR TAMMY !!!!- Thomas
