Re: My Favorite Wife - Discussion
This is one of my top 10 favorite movies and I think that is saying something because it is my opinion that it is very hard to pin down a true favorite. I like this movie most for its re-watch-ability. Re-watch-ability can be defined as a movie that I can watch at least 2 times in three days and still enjoy it. If a movie is high in the re-watch-ability it scores great points with me.
This movie was also the first movie that I really noticed Irene Dunn and appriciated her acting and her comedic timing. Now I am a hugh fan for Irene Dunn.

I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

The judge is one of the minor characters that makes this film so enjoyable imo

Re: My Favorite Wife - Discussion
I just saw "My favorite wife", and I find it very amusing, but in a different way than "The awful truth"- To me, "The awful.." is more amusing, plenty of funny situations, and I read that mostly of the scenes were "invented" during the filming by both stars- "My favorite wife" is more calm, not so funny, but with a wonderful perfomance by Mr Grant- Really he is amazing here- I have to say that when Miss Dunne begans to talk in "southern accent" I couldn,t understood anything. So I was begging for her to talk in "plain English"- It,s very difficult for people that English is not their first language to understand such a "close" accent- I CAN understand much more GWTW way of speaking!!-
More than the judge.. I found VERY amusing the Hotel clerk!!-
